 Housekeeper
The Archdiocese of Sydney is seeking suitably qualified and experienced candidates for the position of Housekeeper for the residence of Auxiliary Bishop Terry Brady. This position is a part time role working 9.30am to 2.30pm, 2 days per week (not including Mondays), and is based at Liverpool.
The role of Housekeeper will be responsible for purchasing groceries and maintaining household supplies, occasional cooking, cleaning of the residence, and general washing and ironing. The Housekeeper is to carry out their duties with care and in a professional manner at all times, and in keeping with what is appropriate for the housekeeping of the Bishop’s residence.
Ideally, the Housekeeper will have a relevant experience in a similar role, a genuine liking for maintaining a household, a professional manner and presentation, good people and communications skills, an attention to detail and a well ordered approach to work, an ability to handle situations with confidence and sensitivity, and a demonstrated commitment to the ethos and values of the Catholic Church.
