Part Time Position
The Parish of Blessed John 23rd – Glenwood/Stanhope Gardens is seeking a Sacramental Coordinator to assist the Parish in its mission.
We are seeking applications from suitably qualified and experienced people for the role of Sacramental Coordinator whose primary responsibility will be to work closely with the Parish Administrator to prepare, implement and manage the parish programs for Sacraments of Initiation.
This role is a part time position of 21 hours per week of which 14 hours would normally be for administrative functions undertaken at the Parish Offices in Stanhope Gardens and the remaining 7 hours being an allowance for out of office activities such as parent meetings etc.
The ideal candidate will have relevant experience in a similar role or at least 3 years experience working in a Sacramental Team. The Sacramental Coordinator must have high level communication skills; the ability to coordinate and motivate members of the sacramental teams; a professional manner and presentation; an ability to operate with discretion and to maintain complete confidentiality; and a demonstrated commitment to the values of the Catholic Church.
