Parish Accountant

Flexible. 24 - 38 hours per week.

 

An opportunity exists for an experienced Accountant to join the Finance team for the Catholic Diocese of Broken Bay. This role is ‘hands on’, requiring a thorough understanding of the principles and standards of financial and management accounting.

 

To be successful in this role you will offer:

 

§  Minimum 10 years accounting experience.

§  An attitude that is proactive and focused on providing the best solutions for our priests and parish staff.

§  A well round history of general work covering accounting, audit, IT, management issues and office structures.

 

The role is for 24hrs per week but people looking for full time work (38hrs per week) will also be considered.

 

The successful applicant will be expected to travel regularly to work at Parishes in the Diocese of Broken Bay. A reimbursement for work related travel costs will apply.
