
Sisters of Charity Outreach
Part Time 20 Hours per week
South West Area of Sydney
The Sisters of Charity Outreach South West Visit Program offers in-home respite to carers and is a visiting Service to those who are socially isolated due to age, disability or medical condition.
This position will be responsible for co-ordinating staff and volunteers who will provide respite to carers of frail, aged, disabled or chronically ill persons and socialization for isolated clients in the South West Area of Sydney, initially the Liverpool local general area.
Essential
High level of commitment to the Philosophy, Mission, Values and Ethics of the Sisters of Charity Outreach.
Relevant qualifications and/or significant experience in a Community Service.
Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) including networking.
Strong leadership, organisational and co-ordination skills.
Ability to lead a multi disciplinary team.
Knowledge and understanding of frail aged persons.
Thorough understanding of OH&S and QI principles are also required.
Current NSW Driver's licence.
Desirable
Knowledge of philanthropic and government funding bodies.
Report writing for grants and funding.
Computer skills.
