Part Time Position (26 hours)
An opportunity to be part of an enthusiastic team in one of Melbourne’s most vibrant and dynamic Parish.
We are looking for a person with experience in coordinating sacramental preparation programmes. It would be preferable to have an accredited Pastoral Associate or some one willing to work towards accreditation. The successful applicant would co ordinate and facilitate our Parish Sacramental Programme and co ordinate our Baptism and Children’s Liturgy of the Word teams for a period of 18 months during Maternity Leave of one of our 3 Pastoral Associates.
The position will commence April 2010 and the days of work will be Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday. The hours of work include evening meetings and rotational Sunday Liturgies. Some of the strengths and qualities we are looking for.
· Strong leadership and organisational skills and is able to work in a team environment.
· Good knowledge of the Sacraments and Liturgy.
· A passion for sharing and offering insight which will have a positive impact on families spiritual and faith life.
