Parish Youth Leader
20-25 hours per week
We are seeking an energetic applicant who supports the Catholic Ethos to continue our existing strong Parish Pastoral Youth Ministry in the areas of youth development, leadership formation, liturgical participation and social activities.
The applicant will also be expected to encourage the children’s sense of belonging in the Parish school, assist in religious education in the State Schools in the local area and help with parish-based faith formation for young people.
The successful applicant will: be committed to the work of the Church in the community; have a demonstrated ability and/or experience in Youth Ministry; have a proven ability to work effectively with a wide variety of people; own transport preferred. Coursework in Theology, Scripture or Ministry is an advantage.
